JGR Pit Crews Deserve Better

Awesome pit crews at JGR -- perhaps they should be able to fire their drivers, instead of the other way around.

Kyle Busch walks away from his pit crew and into a beatdown. His pit crew is too mature to deal with anymore distractions from Kyle. Instead of focusing on winning, he's trying to maintain his "image" by acting out like a child, and throwing down excuses.
Kenseth keeps wrecking his cars and can't seem to close this year.
Suarez is a bright spot, but the Crew Chief has issues, leaving the pit crew as the only hope for the future of that team until Suarez is ready to win a race.

And Hamlin's pit crew keeps putting him up front -- yet Hamlin keeps dropping back. They need to get rid of Hamlin to have a chance at winning a Cup Championship, unless they can somehow "fix" him.

Joe Gibbs' house is not in order. The pit crews need to rise up and demand better performance out of their temperamental drivers. Joe Gibbs needs to tell his drivers to shut their pie holes and drive.

:)

Ok. im ready

The inmates running the asylum ... always a good idea.

Boy, I was really hoping this thread would be a substantive discussion of the top team's pit crews, who's good so far, and who needs major work, because I personally love that part of the sport. Then I saw the author and... nope.

Kinda agree except kenseth - ****** luck is ****** luck.

Hamlin is too arrogant, Suarez is out of his league - give him a couple years, and Kyle Busch is... well Kyle Busch. Gibbs better pay his crew good for the **** they have to put up with.

This is about NASCAR.

JGR and their Pit Crews are an exemplary part of NASCAR, especially Denny's crew.

And here I am hoping they fire Adam Stevens. Just haven't liked alot of his decisions this year. Especially last week, Kyle shouldn't have even pitted that last stop and wouldn't have had to deal with shenanigans like he did.

Gibbs' crews are no more "exemplary" than any other.

Were you to ask any of them, I imagine they'd tell you that they're happy to be living in a dream. JMO, of course.

I bet JGR is really down in the dumps about having a worthless driver like Kyle Busch ....... hell he couldn't win a race if he was the only car on the track :booya:
prolly won't ever win a race in his career :(

That team is flushed with champs and winners. They will come back around at some point.

What has been surprising to me are the 2 car teams,CGR and Penske vs the 4 car teams.
Noticed that too, the two car teams seem to be doing a bit better over the four car teams this year.

You know, I was thinking the same thing, and then I realized that being stupid was not a good idea, and I changed my mind.

I don't have any dog in the love Kyle/hate Kyle goings on but I do get a kick out of it all the entertainment it provides just like I do the Danica Patrick nonsense. I am stoked for this weekend as I wonder if Kyle is going to be upset because of his crappy tires, mad that the track didn't paint the lines bright enough to keep him from going out of bounds, infuriated because someone blocked him or some other matter most drivers take in stride.

He is the one driver that lets things get to him

?? eh

The 1st quarter of the season is over and here are the best pit crews so far

http://www.pittalks.com/2017/05/03/...-over-and-here-are-the-best-pit-crews-so-far/

Interesting, that their opinion of the Best Pit Crew is Team Harvick -- they're the Pit Crew that gets openly mocked and replaced when they scew up. Tough Love works?

I think it's time for some tough love from the pit crews.

Maybe the Team Logano pit crew was making a statement against out-of-control drivers -- once Kyle Busch invaded their space and invited them to beat some sense into him... :)

"Everything is great."

2017 average pit road time per stop...

Daytona: Data not available.
Atlanta: 24 20 4 2 18
Las Vegas: 18 1 11 20 78
Phoenix: 4 42 18 24 5
Fontana: Data not available.
Martinsville: 42 3 18 24 20
Texas: 4 78 14 1 48
Bristol: 11 42 31 48 78
Richmond: 43 11 18 4 78

Gibbs crews are looking pretty spiffy, including the 78 which is a Gibbs pit crew. Also Hendrick and Ganassi looking good, as well as the 4 team from SHR. Penske needs to pick it up. Data per Racing Reference.
