Jimmie goes to the rear of the field after qualifying 3rd because of a blown motor in final practice.
This may affect his chances if he's caught up in a wreck while trying to move his way up.

As much as I don't like Jimmy the fact that he is starting from the back means only that he is probably going to win :(

Yea, Hes owned this track for awile. If he takes his time he will be there at the end.

Helton

Meanwhile Jeff Gordon was heard to be singing the Chevy jingle, "I like it like that"...

i'm no fan either. He's like Gordon, they're like cats who always land on their feet. *sigh*

Lowes+Lowes= win

i predicted at both races last year that JJ will win...he won both of them...i see no reason to stray from that.

JJ will win this week...as sick as that sounds.

2003 - Matt, landed on his feet just about everyweek
2004 - Kurt, Landed on his feet just like Matt did.

They just had the best luck the past 2 years...I mean Kurts tire fell comming out of 4, he should of hit the wall, but he got it in the pits...now dont give me that "that was a heck of a save, he did an alsome save!" he was just hanging on..he ever thought he was going to take the front end off the car.

^ You expect him to stay out front for the whole race? Would be good for him. ;)

Not a fan here either but I still think the #48 team has something yet to show and tomorrow night may be it.

Not going to happen....JJ is due to fall even further, he has run the gammit in luck IMO.

No, I don't expect him to stay out front all race, but he ain't coming up through the pack from 43rd.

Good point Lappy, those are usually the ones who win it all in the end. Stewart seems to be doing so solid this year and Biffle is as well. As much as i adore Kurt, his luck is not there this year. Tomorrow night will be interesting thats for sure.

^ I know, Bobby. You know that I'm just kidding, don't you?

Yeah, I know.
Jimmie has got his work cut out for him and you know I'm not a Jimmie fan but he does run very well a Charlotte and if anyone can git it done from there, he can.

It was this race last year that Johnson started a run that almost won him the Cup.

Jimmie's run here reminds me somewhat of Kyle Petty's run at Rockingham some time back. Yeah, seems that Charlotte is Jimmie's house for the time being. I hate to see it, but I'm glad they are done with that track for the year. Now who owns Martinsville? Rusty believes that he does, but Kurt Busch has had it's number lately. Next week will be fun to watch for sure.

I told you. :p

Damn, why didn't I go to that race last night!?! I went there last year, and the cars were a little slower then. We didn't get to see many wrecks... :(

So you were disappointed that you didn't see many wrecks?
Nice.

Yes, I was. I'm dissapointed because I didn't get to see many wrecks LIVE like the people did last night.

Wrecks are fun to see live--especially when they happen in front of you.
