My son has forever had that problem with his first name. Everyone tries to put an "s" instead of a "c" in his name. LOL I thought after that stupid show "SpenSer for Hire" was over they'd start spelling my kid's name right. :D

BTW: I thought the SPEED coverage didn't start until now?
 
I've held off for as long as I can. If they put Jimmy in the booth, I hope they have Kurt Busch come up and allow him to slap him around so that the network will can the man. Jimmy is one of those guys who will always be a thorn in my side as is his sidekick, Kenny Wallace. As far as I'm concerned, they can put those guys out in front of the track for the fanatics to watch and leave them alone. I for one, can do without Jimmy OR Kenny. :cool:
 
I find it interesting that Kenny was offered $600,000 to work the booth but turned it down so he could try and find a ride. For him some things are more important than money.

I don't find that surprising at all. These guys have by now amassed a good fortune and another half mil plus isn't going to persuade anyone unless they are relatively unknowns. But they wouldn't be offered jobs in the booth either. Jimmy would probably rather be out there on the track as well, but he's found that getting a ride is next to impossible and he's comfortable where he's at now.

All the more reason to get rid of the Cookie Cutter Announcers. (Side thought: Are there any 2 more misplaced announcers than the 2 Talking Heads on Speeds Speed Report?)
