the racing magazine thread got me thinking of Whitlocks editorials in WCScene. that guy had a way with words that I enjoyed weekly. Anybody else remember him? He left us way to soon.

i thought he was a great writer, but he seemed to have a Dale Sr man-crush. but other than that he did a great job

Man , that used to be a long wait for news and info . Then , when the paper finally came , you had to sift through things like Joe's column to finds little bits of gossip and stuff . Now you just go to Jayski .

I would get my fix from the pages of Hot Rod, Motor trend, Car Craft, and later there was a Circle track racing mag at the supermarket.
