iirc, its not only ESPN and Nascar thats drinking the kool-aid. Some posters here, 1 that you are intimately acquainted with, was pushing JL down everyone's throats not to long ago.
With the expectations everyone has if this guy doesn't win by at least 3 laps over the field he'll be a failure. Its a shame people don't just give him a chance to learn the craft before they start projecting onto him.

I was pretty excited to see him in his first nationwide race. However the espn commentators and pit reporters were making me sick the way they were talking about him.

How true. One big difference is the quality of cars. At the present, the Gibbs organization has the best cars while the Yates cars have been only soso at best.

Well, he seems like a nice kid, so I hope he does well. Like BP said.. give him a chance. He did a pretty good job this past Sat., I must say. He's got a ton of pressure heaped on him with all the hype. He seemed rather unaffected during his interview over the weekend. I just hope he stays a nice guy and doesn't let it go to his head or make him drop like a rock if he doesn't do as well as expected.
