Leader couldn't be passed all day. Nor could the top 5 make any passes.

This wasn't anything like Vegas and Auto Club where faster cars could pass.

First dud of the gen 7 car, hope to see more horsepower

Not a lot of passing among the Top 10 this time, 670 hp isn't enough for tracks like Phoenix.

Man they missed the boat. If it wasn't for the late race cautions I'm not sure they would have had a car in the top 10

6.5.... liked how the Brisco team gave up a little in the beginning of the race, he was a tad tight. Thankfully they did not over adjust. Blaney had the car to beat in the first half or so of the race, by the end Brisco had flipped the difference. Harvick's crew should not have tried to dial out the tight in, during the mid section of the race, that would have come back as a favor to him at the end. Elliot tightened up a tad too much.... once there were a few laps on the tires at the end, he started to push coming off.... if he had gotten around Brisco early in the run, he might have been able to hold off Brisco even though Brisco was slightly faster. Impressed with the 1, 8, and.... the Bush bros end of the race banzai finishes.

Oh yeah, my question as to the answer of whether the new gen could handle the apron to track transition was answered by Kyle Bush at the start of the race.

8, I enjoyed it. I do like the parity and that small teams are able to run up front with the big teams. Interesting that drivers are still spinning out on exit, not realizing that the side force is gone in these cars.
