Awesome for both. Nice sign of protest by Harvick and "Beak."

John Andretti, in a car owned by Bob Jenkins that never saw the wind tunnell, beat Goliath to make the 50th running of the Daytona 500! :beerbang:
 
Good for DJ..not so much for John.

I know some other driver would have used the oportunity better then a rice burner that will no doubt wreck in lap 0 anywho.
 
I think it was great for John Andretti .....a job very well done

Jarrett is VERY lucky to be in the field. If not for the help of Mikey .....and his blocking...(which I wasnt too inmpressed by) he would not have made the race

I like how you say that now, but when SR. was blocking everyone in 2001 it was ok....

To me, it's complete bullchit that Sam Hornish is locked in via the idiotic top 35 rule and Skurt has to use a provisional.
 
good for John and Dale. I'm also glad to see Kenny Wallace qualify so high.
 
Kenny Wallace was high? Is that safe to do while driving?
 
Schrader was pissed, I was really hoping he would of made it. Glad the 11 won, but just sucks to see your racing hero load up and go home. :(
 
I was glad to see DJ and John make it. Especially DJ since it is his 20th and last.

The only John got in was he got 4 fresh tires. We'll see after the race

Kenny came in as well........I feel bad for him.
John must however get some satisfaction from the fact that he was pulled out of the BAM 49 to let Kenny race it into the 500 leaving John with no ride.
fortunately he got the chance to race

It's all a little luck and a little more luck, i'm glad John got in, if he can make a decent showing that would be cool.
