Anybody else seen this movie? I just watched it on DVD. Man, that was intense! I thought it was an excellent movie. What did you think?

Basically this guy, John Q., has a son who needs a heart transplant. But, he has an HMO that says they won't pay for it. The hospital won't pay for it. So they basically tell him his son will have to die instead. So, he takes hostages at the hospital and demands that his son is given a heart transplant. I don't want to tell anymore so as not to ruin the suspense for anyone who wants to watch it. Denzel Washington plays John Q and does a great job. It is really a great movie. I got something in my eye a couple times watching it, and that hasn't happened in a long, long time.
 
Denzel is such a powerful actor, I really can't think of anything he's done that wasn't top notch. That's for the recommendation 4x, maybe we'll rent it this evening.

You are quite welcome. Let me know what you think of it. I think it's a pretty good movie when you remember different parts of it throughout the next day.
 
ive seen it before it was great and im lookin forward to his new movis antone fischer
 
I just got done watchin it on tv I hate how it leaves you hanging at the end
 
It really makes you think about life especially when he makes the decision(not gonna give it away for the people that aint seen it) but you who seen it knows whats im talking about(towels part)
