Did he? I read on ESPN that he wasn't feeling 100% after the wreck and elected to sit the race out.

One of the crew members on the #21 said he was "fired" but I haven't heard anything official.
All I heard was that he was pulled from the car. Not sure if it was just for this race.

I was watching qualifying and it was reported that one of the crew members said it. Now that could have just been wishful thinking by one of the people that have to fix the cars lol

ESPN2 moments ago, Andy Petree said he's talked to officials at RCR and Townley's out. I wonder what ride Zaxby's will buy him now.
RCR should do the right thing and put Stephen Leicht or Sean Caisse in that car, but I fully expect a Cup-regular will wind up with that ride.
