John Wooden

College basketball lost probably it's best coach, John Wooden. Wooden died Friday at the age of 99. For those of us who were fortunate enough to see this man do his job, we saw a master at his job. His former players are a who's who in college and professional basketball. UCLA's improbably 88 games in a row without a loss will probably never be bested. BTW, that stretch began after Notre Dame beat them and was ended with a lost to ND.
