Who else of note is complaining? If you go and watch that video now, he's not so much drunk as buzzed. It is understandable that someone as image concious as JJ would be uncomfortable with it, and I'm happy he spoke his mind. We need more of this, because now I get to call JJ a wanker. :cool:

It's funny how some just don't understand the reason different personalities are important. You like some and dislike others instead of having trouble telling them apart.

They were talking about this on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio today. I think that it's kind of silly to be bringing all of this up now.

Oh he was drunk. He was drinking on an empty stomach and he probably weighs between 143-152lbs so it wouldn't take much.

Like Brad said, he had a buzz. He also describes himself as a light weight when it comes to holding his alcohol.
 
What's the fuss? Brad Kesolowski is 29 and on the day he won the Sprint Car Championship, was the happiest guy in the world. Sometimes ya just gotta let it go, express yourself in full bloom, warts and all. I like Brad Kesolowski, the Busch Brothers, Stewart and finally Jeff Gordon is starting to break the shell of "political-sponsor correctness."
This makes them human. And refreshing to watch. I hope Kesolowski wins another championship, and celebrates the same way. Unless of course, his sponsor is changed to Sunoco or Ex-Lax.

I suspect that a very high percentage are jealous that they're not the Sprint Cup Champ - no matter who the current champ is.
 
The only thing JJ said that surprised me was about Brad being buzzed on TV and maybe that's not good for the sport. It's an odd thing to say after seeing how everyone loved it.

But JJ saying anything confrontational is good news, IMO.

Yep. I don't think JJ's comments go any further than him being a very reserved person who would never let his guard down the way Kez did.
