What the hell happened to him? He pretty much dropped off the face of the earth after 2008.

He was rushed to fast into competing with the big boys. Ask Casey Atwood or Reed Sorenson they both were expected to be the next big thing but once they got to cup they couldn't produce.

Oh **** I forgot to come up with a trivia question! Okay I WILL now!

Fair enough but they have a NW career (well, Atwood did...). Jon has not been heard of since 2008.

Jon Wood was diagnosed with ADHD and had adverse side affects to the medication.

Nascar's top three series' are not for everyone . They are incredibly difficult , even if you have connections . Just to compete at that level , requires a huge amount of dedication and talent . Doing it with any kind of medical problem is next to impossible . I feel bad for Jon .

I suppose the fact that his family team has gone to a severely limited part-time schedule doesn't help either.

Wood was a talented driver and in the Roush development program with Edwards...I think we all know what happened there.

Along with that interview above, I remember some others that seemed odd to me. His speech was slurred and what he said just didn't seem to mesh with the facts.

Now in his early 30's, I fear his "shot" may have come and gone.

Very very true. Just to get any ride in the cup series is short of amazing these days and it requires a lot of times good connections. But you have to have some talent to even get there. The worst guy out there (or should I say girl) is very good.
