Yeah and him and Michael Jordan are good friends. Jordan is also a big NASCAR fan. They were friends before the sponsorship things. I'm pretty sure Denny is the only reason the Jordan brand is in NASCAR though.

Jordan is a motorsport afficionado.

He used to own a team in the AMA Superbike Series but after like two years he dissolved it.

I would not be surprise if he decides to get his own start-up team in NASCAR in the future.

Yeah I'm surprised they didn't get into it earlier too.. maybe it just never crossed his mind. I do remember hearing Denny talked him into it though. Im pretty sure Denny always has that logo on his fire suit and his gloves. I've heard rumour of Jordan sponsoring a team full time within a couple years. Not sure which series though.. it was just on Facebook so I'm not sure it's even true but it wouldn't surprise me.
