JPM fined, but this guy isn't??

I don't care much of Pablo, but where was the fine for when he jumped on the roof at the Mexico City race he won? I thought that was a bigger no, no because it can make the template not fit. As for Jimmy's helmet, i find it funny, but If NA$CAR fines for the bird, or someone cussing in an interview, why not for having a sticker? Is it because its not really seen unless the helmet is out of the car? This just proves what Dale Jr sale. "You cant say s***"

The caption on the helmet worn by Jimmy Blewett is the most classless, immature, simple minded thing a professional can do, regardless of occupation.
Blewett and others, may think it "cute" and a right of "self-expression", but thinking of the hundreds of fans seeing this profanity, puts those who allow it, in a league of their own located somewhere at the depths of whale defecation at the deepest part of the ocean.

It is an insult to my wife or daughter to be subjected to immature, disrespectful garbage as this at a public event. It is compounded by the fact the event is sanctioned by the premier governing body NASCAR, or any other sanctioning body. Allowing this vulgarity to be publically displayed makes them as classless, immature and simple-minded as the fool who permitted it to be placed on their helmet.

It makes me wonder if the people who think it is "cute" would continue to feel it is okay if someone stood in within earshot of their mother, daughter, wife, sister, or young child, and used the same terminology, without being offended.

Guarantee one thing, if someone did this, it will get the attention of those voicing approval, as how crude and insulting it truly is to those with differing standards and respect of others.

It is my understanding that he's worn the helmet in at least 2 NASCAR-sanctioned races in Connecticut.

Yeh i saw him race on sunday at thompson, didn't see the helmet, but you know what....so what, free speech is all about what makes this country great. If it offends you don't read it..... don't let it bother you and don't bring more attention to it...because that is just the reaction that is wanted:rolleyes: ;)

Ha ha ha. I thought I recognized that boy. Jimmy drives a modified for the northern boys and now and then comes down this way to race the southern boys, and with his high dollar team, normally beats the pants off our boys.

Jimmy should be told to 86 the helmet and probably has by now. But what I'd like to address is where today's "NASCAR" racing is and has been going for many years now. As most probably know, those old ranks of NASCAR drivers and owners have been on the conservative side of the political aisle and they've not made any bones about it. But today's climate in politics, those in NASCAR today, have begun to play the game of political correct politics and something like giving the finger is a huge no no, and I can assure you that Mr. Jimmy Blewett has probably already been warned by NASCAR that if he wears that helmet again, he will be banned from the field. It's not been a year yet when NASCAR banned one of our local modified drivers, who was at that time competing with Mr. Blewitt in a race at Martinsville, to remove or cover the top of his car. Why? His car was number 01 and named the General. You know what was on top of the car and though it's been on TV, in the south and a favorite with the fans, the roof of the car was taped over because the driver needed the points.

God, when will this crap end? If you are offended by what you see in NASCAR, join the rest of the group who hate what they see in the normal everyday running of the sanctioning body. But of course, that's probably where you are anyway, nothing but complaining about what you see. Hell, you don't like what you see on the track as far as the racing is concerned, so why would something else bother you?

I'm ready to head to Australia, but my friend down there tells me that it's even worse down there. Tahiti, give me a call!!!

helmet

Guess you notice it was on the front of his helmet. Guess he had to be moved out of the way alot.

PC...._ _ _ _ .. _ _, geting sick of all this too, Why do we have to tip toe around an issue? Come out and say it, if offends you well then choose not to read any more of what i write. Freedom of speech is a dying breed.

Personally, I think thats one of the funniest things I've evr seen. But then again I have a genuinely warped sense of humor.
