Jr Gives Hickory Champion Second Nationwide Start

Yea, I like how Jr. is really involved in promoting the sport of stock car racing. The street stock cars in iRacing came from Jr Motorsports and Jrs been really awesome at driver's development.

And unlike a certain other driver he won't run his own cars all the time.

if sponsorship wasn't an issue, which dale jr's NW team is in a unique position of being better off than most teams. Then yeah why would you not put in guys that have proven themselves on short tracks. So much of this sport is all about what money a driver can bring to the table.

Nice to see a driver getting a shot rather than buying a shot.

Junior has done more for up and coming talent than he gets credit for. It's too bad that he had to tighten the purse strings which also proves he's no fool. He'd be the person I'd pick to hang out with as long as it had nothing to do with racing, you know he has to toe the company line if it's at all involved with NASCAR.

I've always liked Junior but not his bandwagon followers. I was able to hear a few interviews with him off the record and unedited and the kid has it right between his ears and is a cool customer indeed.

I also like that his Twitter has exposed that he's also a fairly sharp guy.

Isn't one of his sisters usually the financial mind and helps Junior keep everything afloat in terms of financing?

Also, while I'm not a Jr. fan (sorry Jr.) I do respect the guy and wouldn't pass up a chance to hang out in his bone yard collection. Maybe he'll have a Modified chassis I can haul away for a sim ****pit. :D

This is true from Rookie 4's to Super Late Models in the weekly short track races around the country, as well.
