JR Motorsports announced today significant developments in its 2013 NASCAR Nationwide Series plans, as Great Clips Inc., the world’s largest hair salon brand, has signed a primary sponsorship agreement for 28 races next season. The partnership brings Kasey Kahne and Brad Sweet to JR Motorsports, adding to a lineup that already includes Regan Smith, the series’ most recent winner, and Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Some more on this here.

My first thought was "Who is Kahne Sweet?" ;)

Good news for Jr. I wonder if Kasey will be forced to get one of those wumb haircuts like shorty was sporting last year.

Cole's Kermit like voice and Opie head makes him difficult to market. Maybe Kyle will put him in a Truck.

I think JR Motorsports has almost outgrown their shop. If I remember right I think it only has enough room for 2 haulers inside.

Why would you need room for haulers inside? Nationwide has him covered for tornado and hail damage Im sure. And it's not like his shop is where I live. Four or more feet of snow would have to be cleared here and there.

I don't guess they would have to, but most of the big teams do.

I wonder if low ballers MWR have a garage for their haulers?
I wanted to go to MWR but I ran out of time and didn't make it over there. But if I was guessing I would say yes. One of our other crew guys did stop by there, so I will ask him when I talk to him.

My guess was wrong, I just talked to my buddy and he said that MWR has an open sided truckport on the side of the shop that will fit 4 or 5 haulers.

Kahne has been trying to bring Sweet up for a few years now. To me it seems the kid just doesn't get it. I am sure the only reason Sweet has this deal is because Kahne wouldn't do it unless Sweet got the dates he didn't drive. Been doing that for a couple years now. He didn't do too hot in the Turner car last year. Why should we expect him to do anything with Jr motorsports?
