If they changed the engine after practice one, then his car blew up in happy hour, do they have a third engine or do they use the one in the wrecked car? Will Jr. still be a threat at dega or is his car now considered iffy?

There's probaly 2 or more 'spares' sitting in the hauler. I walked thru Ricky Rudds hauler, 3 of them were sitting on dolly's strapped under a work bench. Couple of rear ends, complete with brakes and cooler, along with spare transmissions. They carry a spare or two of just about every part short of the frame and cage.

I don't think you can count Jr out, we've seen back up cars run well in the past. I believe a few have won.

The backup was rolled off the truck ready to roll -- engine and all. I'm sure there are a couple of spare engines sitting in the hauler.
