Dale Jr. sure is confident.........easy Jr. Nascar might not take to kindly to you tipping us off on what is going to happen this year.

"We're going to come into the Chase and be in the top three in points,'' he said during Thursday's media day. "We'll have six or seven wins, if not more. If we lose the championship it won't be by much.''

"I got the car to beat over there in the garage,'' Earnhardt said. "It's the fastest car. It won't run fast in qualifying, but that's the way we build it."

Just shut up and race Jr.......

Oh ya and if you don't win 6 or 7 and you go winless what excuse will it be for you this year?....You and Tony E can't get along!!!! ....

I suppose you would have perferred the typical statement of:

"Well, the XYZ chevy, Ford, Dodge is strong, but this is plate racing so you just gotta be there at the end. The team is strong and I feel good about the season. XYZ is a great sponser and is very supportive weather we win or lose."

I wish they'd all tell us exactly how they feel.

He's only saying aloud what a lot of drivers are most likely thinking. I am in no way a Earnhardt fan but I do appreciate his candor.

BTW, I just heard Kyle Busch B******G about restrictor plates - the first one I've heard this year. Perhaps he'll also be the first to say "we're just gonna move on to California and go from there".

I appreciate the honesty of both guys...you gotta have confidence and you gotta be realistic about plate racing.

Everyone uses the same plate specs. Fair the whole way around.

See ya' in California, Busch.
