Jr's car illegal?

if jr.'s car was really illegal and nascar knew it was and didnot care, than why in the world is jr. not sitting on the poll for the 500. Jr. is not doing nothing wrong.. Looks like jr.'s doing every thing just right, becouse he is defently winning the legal way. so i guess the other race teams need to get in gear to win.

he is not breaking the rules, E. Sr. built his cars to be good at the Rest. Plat raceses and we know he was the king of rest. Plat racing. Jr. knows how to race on these tracks, other people don't (for ex. do go to the middle(dang you harvick :p ))
 
Jr. obviously has the better car and it's probably legal but...

He's not the best driver.

He was today's "winner." Better driver is different.
 
did everyone forget about RAD?....this has/had alot to do with DEI,RCR, AND APR being strog at these type of tracks and a few others...or doesn't this matter nymore?

If you put jr. in somone elses car and he sucks..it is just the cars set up and it would show that jr.'s car is perfect.

If you put any other driver in jr.'s car that driver would be very happy becouse it is set up good and that's what it takes to win at these tracks.
 
He's car is perfect at restrictor plate races only. It seems they would put some more research and money into other types of tracks (road courses etc).
 
they have put the money and time(hiring ron fellows) in and they have won at other tracks( i know most disagree and i'm wasting time and space sayin it)..just don't dominate like at dega and daytona, but nobody dominates other tracks these days....so whether it plate racin or not, a win is a win and a race is a race and i'm just glad i get to see it for the next 9 months...even tho i enjoy it, i can only take so much rally racin!!.... :D

Restrictor plate races only? ONLY?!! What about Bristol last year?... What about Martinsville?.. What about over in Arizona?.. What about Homestead?..

Its not just plate races... check the stats...
 
So he's got a win or two sprinkled in over the past 4 years or so..big deal.

He only shows consistancy at plate tracks.
 
So.... you expect him to come in WC and be the greatest driver ever?
 
With all the hype that surrounds him one would think he already is...if one didn't know better.
 
I'm a Jr fan, but I dont think he is the greatest driver ever..
so what does that say about me?
 
Alright then.. I'm not some new fan that came in just to fit in with all the other Earnhardt fans... I've loved it since the 80's... but Earnhardt Jr was the one I decided to follow. Not Earnhardt Sr.. but Earnhardt Jr..
 
I don't see how this thread has anything to do with what kind of fan you are, I'm not sure why you brought that up.

Hmm ok how many laps did JR lead today? How many laps did Harvick lead today? If you look they are pretty close, Jr did not pass Harvick when he was leading, once again race was decided in the pits with Harvicks' miscue with the catch can. Plate racing is a joke, I will say that Jr has it figured out on the plate tracks , but he sure the hell isn't very consistent on the others. I'd take Stewart, Bush, Kennseth, or Harvick over Jr anyday. That's not to say that Jr. won't get better on the other tracks, but for now he isn't a complete driver!!!!
 
Ahh.. just because I've seen you post before about how most of the Jr fans aren't even real NASCAR fans... just wanted to clear that up with you.

If I had the time to dig through it all, I would. I've seen some before about you saying that [/b]most[/b] of the Jr fans dont know the real roots of racing, etc.. I'm not pouring it all on you, there is some others out there, but I've seen you post some of the same stuff..
 
I may have said, "The influx of fans that don't know much about racing at all happen to be Jr fans." but I've never said what you've just accused me of.

And I'm not getting into a fight with you, sorry.

It just gets to me that everytime Jr does good or wins a race, its always the same crap over and over. Jr's car is illegal... its a fix... NASCAR lets him get away with a rules violation... etc..
 
Well, first you said something about what kind of fan do I think you are...trying to get me to bash you as a fan. Then said something about what kind of fan I think all Jr fans are. You're trying to argue about something that has nothing to do with what this thread is about.

If you would like to comment on how people think it's a sham...feel free...but drop the personal jabs.

Yeh i agree never seen Paul bash anyone just because they are fan of Jrs, i think we all like a particular driver for a reason, whatever that may be and that is fine. I do think some new fans that come into the sport tend to jump on the bandwagon with certain drivers (Jeffy,Jr, Stewart,....others) until they learn more about the sport.
 
I never said anyone is bashing anyone! I'm just saying... its gets pretty annoying that everytime Jr does something, its the same crap... "Jr's car is illegal, NASCAR lets him by with it, its all a fix"... blah blah blah...
 
That's fine, you're allowed to get tired of that. But the whole line of questioning about "What kind of fan" you are...and then accusing me of saying this stuff I've never said kinda made no sense.

Your other points make a lot of sense...the other stuff could have been left out.

How bout some C-14 gold? I don't know what aromatics they put in C-14, but the bugs sure seem to like it! Gotta keep everything covered!
