The powerhouse that be, JTG Daugherty is apparently adding a second car to its stable. David Reutimann is the anticipated driver to be a teammate to Bobby Labonte.

A modest attempt but I like it, we need more than just 3 or 4 teams, with just 3 or 4 king makers.
The days of wanting a single car independent operation that's first class has become an impossible dream.
So I will hope for the next best thing, 15 or more very good two cars teams, that are independent from each other.
Something to bust generic pyramids. Your engines and cars built by your own team. When a skirmish occurs there isn't a grand poo-bah that can tell you stop it and cooperate because he builds both your cars ,engines, and owns the tech support for both of you.
Having more competitors is good for fans, and when someone challenges the powerful they should be applauded.

I'll be expecting to see some team ramping up to be in line for a Dodge comeback in the next year or two. Certainly a one car team is not going to get any notice from Dodge . It will take one or two - two car teams ,at a minimum .
