Who was leading the points after the Tropicana 400 @ Chicagoland Speedway on this date ??...I believe it was #24...second place in the points was the #88..???
Maybe someone can verify for me...I have a commemorative pin, approx 2" in diameter for the "Inaugural Tropicana 400"...They are numbered 1 thru 7000...I just happen to have #2488/7000

If those 2 cars were #1&2 in the points on that date, the pin will be for sale...if interested make a reasonable offer at this e-mail [email protected]

Update....Yep...they were actually tied for the points lead after that race. Both had 2515 points...#24 was considered the POINTS LEADER by virtue of more second place finishes at that point in the season
