July 17, 2004:The Craftsman Truck Series race at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Ill., lasts almost as long as its name: Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers Ram Tough 200. The scheduled 160-lap race needs four green-white-checkered attempts to finish because of wrecks. David Starr emerges the winner when he does a slick bump-and-run on Chad Chaffin on the last lap, Lap 174. It is a record for GWCs in one race that likely won’t be broken as NASCAR has since amended the rule to only one GWC per race.
