The last lap is the only lap Spencer leads. Three weeks later he leads 21 laps and wins the DieHard 500 at Talladega by .025 seconds over Bill Elliott.

I remember both of those races. Irvan led the most laps in all four restrictor plate races that season and didn't win any of them.
