Junior and J. Green having a war of words

Green takes issue with remarks, fires back at Earnhardt Jr.

This is a pretty interesting store about some comments that Jeff Green said. The whole war of words started becuase Green said something about how RCR created DEI.

"If it wasn't for his dad, he wouldn't be here either," Green said of Earnhardt Jr. "He's got a fast race car, but if it wasn't for Michael Waltrip helping him out every race he probably wouldn't have won the races he won. He'd better count his blessings."

This comment made by Green is the reason I am no longer a fan of his. This statement shows that he is jealous of Junior. He should really look back in the record books because I never saw Mike behind Junior when he won at Texas, Richmand, or Dover.

But Jeff Green needs to shut up until he wins a race. Even if he's mostly right.
 
I couldn't agree more TWF. Green needs to come back to planet earth, all he has in cup right now is a Daytona 500 pole, thats it.
 
I don't like Green either but I agree with what he said about Jr.
 
Oh,I love this-------a division in the ranks.

Jr. was out of line bad.Particularly the "they may not be there much longer" remark.

Jr. whines about Green---Green fires back.Harvick apparently isnt as outspoken as his handler/wife has portrayed him to be.And the whole thing is silly.

The Earnhardt/Childress era is over.

Not one of the six drivers in that team are ever going to finish in the top three in points.They will be given a sentiment race now and then so Nascar can keep Jr.on magazine covers and sell a few more tickets.

But,IMO,none of the Racing Earnhardt-Childress Style[R.E.C.S] drivers are ever going to contend for the title.

Ty and Richard:fire all six and hire Morgan Shepherd!Show some class! -_-
 
Earth to Junior fans.

If you read that article, Junior was the first one to open his mouth. If I was Green and heard Junior talking about how I wasn't going to be in the sport long and didn't appreciate the team I was driving for, I would get pretty upset too.

If Junior wants to make comments like that, he deserves whatever comes back.

Completely agree with Green, but to an extent Jr. has been handed a lot because of his name. I don't know how he would fair for example if he was in the same boat as Jeff Green, but we will never know.

And if Jr. started it first, then my respect to Green for saying how it is and sticking up to a man who has all the media status that Jr. carries.
 
I find it refreshing drivers are starting to say what's been obvious for three years now.

Hopefully more will continue to speak out and the complete and utter joke you've been witnessing for the past week will end.

Green is just talkin' his smack because he beat out Jr for the pole... THE POLE!! The pole means nothing when it comes to race time... watch out for Jr, he'll be the one to win it.
 
I'm just impressed because Junior said more than five words without dropping an F-Bomb.
