Junior not happy with DEI's move

LAS VEGAS – When he first got word that all references to him had been removed from the headquarters of Dale Earnhardt Inc., Dale Earnhardt Jr. was fine with it. But after stewing over it for a bit, he's not.

"I got to thinking about it, and it sort of hurt my feelings," Earnhardt Jr. said at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where preseason testing resumed Monday. "It's sort of a – even the guys that are still there that worked on that car, to not see the accolades, any sort of appreciation for the work they did, that they're still there. And the Tony Jr.'s, the guys that aren't there anymore that had something to do with the Daytona 500 win; that had something to do with the Busch Series championships and stuff.

"But I ain't going to spend any more time on it, because there's just better things to worry about and occupy your time with."
 
wow, that is cold. Sure he left and does not drive for them anymore. He did win 2 busch champaionships at DEI, and all his wins are with them. (so far) I wonder if they still have Mikey, Steve Park, stuff in there?
 
Theresa is going to end up with even less friends than she had left. That is cold.
 
I guess out of sight is out of mind, thats just wrong, Friends she wont have friends or a company if this is the way it's gonna be, I read some where they put it away to make room for a luncheon, I think they just put it away, but all Jr fans know what he has done, and theres more to come, and there are alot of NASCAR fans out there who think he wont do ant thing at HMS but time will tell, I say just keep it to yourself! (IMO) and it's just not his memories and winnings it's the whole teams :beerbang:
 
One thing race fans never take for granted is heritage, history. Couple that with it being done to Nascars favorite driver, and by a family member.....wow how Jerry Springer to me.

This is not a shrood move by DEI and I'm surprised the fallout is not all over the newspapers. This is the first I've heard of it.
 
Oh cry me a freaking river. So they took down his crap. Does it really matter? It's not like he drives over to look at it, is it?
Maybe he needs to talk to Rick about building him a museum to put all his trophies and awards in. I'm sure they could charge admission and get the money back quickly from the 'Red Army'.
Actually there's a suitable building for sale right down the road he could pick up cheap...

Hey, it's almost racing season and I got to get back to training cause it's going to be a long season with Lil'E being with HMS. :)
 
Why should Jr buy anytihng now. All he has to do is wait a few years and he will be able to pick up DEI for a song.

The woman is making some stupid mistakes.
 
Nah, I'm betting that if it goes that far, and I don't think it will, Teresa will burn the place down before she sells to Lil'E.
