I've read posts of people upset that Hamlin said "He's mine" over the radio on the last caution in regards of Johnson.....(which I thought was great btw)

...but what about Little E saying over the radio that Khane had better get out of the way or he was going to move him.

...Jrs another hothead like Stewart imho....except I have more respect for Stewarts racing ability

fortunately Jr only spun himself when he went to hard into the corner and Khane had fhis wits about him and went high

Jr simply screwed up. However, he admitted after the race that he was greedy and screwed up. Not all drivers admit it.

Kasey has been racing pretty darn good. He is probably the "most improved" driver this year. I like his career outlook.

Clutch, I like your comments, but seeing that you are in NZ, how often have you seen our NASCAR races? Or, are you really here in the USA and ... well, .

The point is, those guys say things like that all the time, and if it isn't the driver, the spotter or someone else on the team does. I've heard Rusty Wallace many times say over his radio that if that dirty ba....... doesn't get out of the way, I'll move him. Sterling Marlin has often talked about spinning someone because he's upset with them blocking him. Years ago, they would actually get away with that and do just what they talked about, but today, with NASCAR monitoring their radios, if a driver does spin another driver out and he's talked about doing so on his radio, NASCAR will take measures.

Junior made a mistake. He got impatient and spun. Plain and simple.

And I absolutely loved Hamlin's "He's MINE" radio transmission.

As for Junior being a hot head, you got the wrong guy.
For the most part, Dale is pretty laid back and understanding. Dale showed us two weeks ago at Lowe's he is not a hot head and that time he had reason to lose his composure.

Dale message was a warning to Kasey through the spotters and is considered racing ettiquete. Dale felt Kasey was blocking and holding him up. By Dale advising his spotter who in turn passed the word along, it placed the ball in Kasey's court.
As it turned out, Dale miscalculated, tried to move Kasey and screwed himself.
As Muggle Not already noted, Dale later admitted his error, a pretty manly thing to do and something not many people are willing to face up to these days.

I'll figure out someway to prove it to ya, but believe me I am in NZ as we speak but I lived in Vancouver Canada for 20 years and spent my time watching Cale Yarborough, Benny Parsons, The King, Neil Bonnet, Earnhardt Snr......and Dick Trickle who I always rooted for:D

anyhow moved back to NZ in 1999 where I was born because its simply the best place in the world to fish!!!!

but back to your comment, we get every Cup race live......although I probably work half of them and have to catch the replay as they are in the morn on mondays here............and by the way I have been to two of the last 3 Fontana races as I work for Air NZ:D

You know it is Stewart who reminds me most of Earnhardt Snr.....remember how he was famous for giving that nudge in the corner to push them up and then run past them for the win.....I can clearly remember that happening to Kenny Shrader and the interviewer after the race told Kenny that Earnhardt had apologised about pushing Kenny out of the way to which Ken S responded....."Yeah, thats what he said the last time he wrecked me"

Junior was interviewed on Wind Tunnel last night. I absolutely howled at his comment that "he kept it together all day -- then it just went away."

You have to admire his honesty.

BTW, welcome to the funny farm, Clutch. :)

Pull up a chair, have a cold one, and visit a spell.
