Tony Eury Junior, crew chief for the No. 8 Chevy for Dale Earnhardt Incorporated, is at Daytona International Speedway this week; his first race back after a six-race suspension.
His driver and cousin Dale Earnhardt Junior is leaving DEI at the end of this year and will head to Hendrick Motorsports in 2008. One loose end that’s being talked about is whether Eury Junior will follow Earnhardt to Hendrick.
Thursday at Daytona, Eury made no secret of the fact that he’d like to follow Earnhardt to Hendrick.
“I’d like to,” Eury said. “I’ll just have to wait until November and see what happens.”
