There was rumors of JA going to Ganassi in 2003, but yet we all know that the Havoline car has been filled but i can think of 3 or 4 other cars that Chips ownes. Chip announced a week or two ago that he will be moving over to the IRL from CART in 2003 and exspanding his operation to 4 cars. Only one of those seats is possibly filled that is for Dixon,Jeff Ward could possible continue, but as far as i know Kenny and Bruno do not want to go to the IRL and that leave 2 or 3 possible seats open. Plus i just saw that National Speed Sprt news is saying that John could go oer and join chip there not in cup!!
Just something eles for those John Fans out there to ponder!!!!
 
Because the IRL actually has a future?

It might have something to do with the fact that he can run 4 cars in the IRL for pretty much the same amount of money he spent running 2 cars in CART. Each CART car is a million bucks and the entry fee is $20,000 PER DRIVER each race. He's got 2 drivers and each driver has 2 cars. That's 4 mil for JUST the cars and then the $40,000 entry fee each week. Meanwhile over in the IRL most of the guys are saying that they need 5 mil TOTAL to run the WHOLE season.
 
Ok, THAT's weird..... I posted my reply AFTER Dutch, but now my post is ABOVE his.....

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I might be wrong on the enrty fee. It might be $10,000 per driver. When it was being explained to me, it was simply said "$20,000." With Penske having 2 drivers, they may have meant that as a total for the 2. Either way, IRL is still cheaper.

Well CArt is a dead hourse in a few years so Chip is goin over there now. Also the money from Honda or Toyota kinda helps too.
