It was called Saving General Motors --- very enlightening.

Saw the new Camaro being developed in Australia. Apparently when DaleJr went down there last December, GM invited him to wring the car out on the test track. Lots of fun watching him put it through it's paces.

Also saw the new Chevy electric -- the Volt. Decided that I wouldn't buy one --- $45,000 and up. The battery alone is $15,000 to replace. And they're still not sure it will work.

so the camaro is another holden convert, like the "new" GTO (Holden Monaro) was? Sounds liek that could get fun.

As I've stated before GM is not interested in producing an electric car. They are setting it up to fail due to the involvement of Big Oil in their portfolio. But they have to make some noise to try and stay relevant. This price is $10K more than originally planned. Knowing that this will take it out of many people's price range.
It looks like if Toyota doesn't come to the market we will have to rely on a 3rd party. This could be a great opportunity for the conversion market.
