i think this needs its own tread.
the name will be trackhouse racing.

driver?? larson?they use to own a sprint car team together,
should be fun to watch this come together.please no bs,just fun, happy stuff.

with teams not building most of the parts, they will have allot of time to put together rentals.

I doubt anyone is going to build extra inventory of the current model. What do you do with them when the one-year rentals are up? Teams will be reserving that money for the 2022 cars.

If you're renting, expect to get the older stuff the teams had already tagged for sale to ARCA, etc.

Anyone know the reason WHY? Nascar changed the schedule for the Gen 7 car?

Because dealing with COVID this season will keep everyone involved from getting ready. It's certainly put a complete stop to all of NASCAR's scheduled tests. I assume suppliers have been affected.
But Trump said this to will pass. :sarcasm:

Always good to see new teams. Like I said, he is really banking on the new gen car. I hope it works out for all teams.

Nostalgic unrealistic post that does not even match the full context warning:

I will always want more teams, the dreamer in me loves it.
I wish it was real. When I was kid watching somebody you never heard of unloading a new to me race car was a beautiful thing.

It does not happen any more for a million reasons. But I miss the idea of some local hot shoe putting together a deal and giving it a shot.
I think racing had more of the old baseball textile league common man sweetness working when it used to occasionlly happen. I know we can't go back.
But I still love the memory.
I remember in the early 80s when Butch Lindley showed up at Martinsville for a cup race and led about half of the laps. I loved it.
Seeing a local driver starting in your backyard and working their way up are some of my best memories.
