Hmmm, that's going to be an interesting night at the track. I wonder how many cars normally start in this series? BGS has always (in the modern era), cut the starting grid to 24 cars. A quarter mile flat track will get strung out quickly and I'm sure there will be some pretty aggressive driving among those inexperienced drivers at this track. I'll definitely be there for this race. Of course, I seldom miss a race at BGS.

They get around 25 cars for the short track races. I think a 1/4 mile track is a little small for the east series though. Should be an interesting race though.

Interesting is right. If you ever saw the series Madhouse, you will have seen the tight racing there. But modifieds aren't the only cars to race on the track. The next lower tier of racing is limited late models and they put on quite a good show and there is more door to door racing than the mods. But as I said, the K and N drivers are going to be new to this track and won't know the ins and outs of where to run, pass or wait. Tires will be a big factor if the race is over 150 laps and with the pits on the outside of the track, who knows what will transpire. C'mon down and watch the fun.

The race probably will be 150 laps, that is their normal length(they do run some 125s though). The series puts on really great shows. I'm really torn about which race to do that weekend, was planning on seeing a race in QC, but this one would be awesome too. I think they are about the same distance from home...

Langley Speedway will be a good show.

They should all be really good. I went to 8 k&n races last year, the only one that was not good was Gresham(there was a wrecked that destroyed a water barrel and they ran most of the race under caution while they were cleaning that up, more than half of the race was caution..). The only bad thing i seee about the schedules is no road course races for the east series. At least they are up from 10 races(from last year) to 12 and the west is up from 12 to 14.

May I ask where QC is?
