TRL can move this if it's in the wrong spot, but, I thought maybe some of you might find this news interesting. Kasey Kane and Tony Stewart are partnering up and Kasey is going to drive in the Chili Bowl Nationals midget race next month. They are doing this to honor Jason Leffler. Ricky Stenhouse Jr and Kyle Larson are also on the entry list for next months race in Tulsa Ok. Here is a link to the article.

Yes, that's pretty cool. I had posted this yesterday but it didn't seem to draw too much interest. They are doing this for his son.

Would be pretty cool if one of them won.
One of the Swindell's has won the thing for the last five years in a row. Mostly Kevin, Sammy has won it one time. Pretty amazing when there are around 250 drivers from all over the world that they had to beat.

Glad that they stepped up and helped with this project, the Swindell bowl is an awesome event

Dam shame Stewart is too banged up to race in it. I bet he is not happy about that, but he doesn't want to screw up his day job anymore than it is.

He that does well at Western Springs in Auckland, NZ (my home track) at christmas always seems to do well in Tulsa

and they are racing again tonight.
Bell is a new name for me(Go Okie :)), but Clawson, Hagen and Coons have been around for a while and they are almost always a threat in a midget.

I bet all of those and the two Swindells make the feature at the chili bowl, Pitman, Kruseman, Hines, will probably be in it..I'll be watching Taylor Ferns (girl) she is pretty quick. Larson will probably make the feature, Kahne might make it, he has been a disappointment for me anyway, I think Stewart would do better in the car.

I think you are probably right ,.....Larson is awesome,....and Kevin is on a roll
I have a favourite in the race I think his number is 63 Michael Pickens.....a Kiwi of course.

The 50 lapper on saturday will decide who is the King of the Springs this year and therefore who will be hot in Tulsa.

Just the way it seems to work out lately
