Kasey Kahne tweeted that he had knee surgery again on Monday [April 18th] as he re tore his meniscus. Kahne says the knee just about feels better now then it has the last month and that he will be driving at Richmond.

I've never had surgery but does it really heal up THAT fast?

I'm guessing he hurt it jumping out of the burning car?

After i tore mine i was playing softball in 6 weeks and running at full speed, depends on your rehab.

I think it also has to do with the extent of the injury. When my son tore his he wore a brace-like device that kept him from bending his knee for several weeks, maybe it was a whole month. Then came physical therapy.

He had surgery on his ankle, more torn ligaments and bone chips etc, 3 weeks ago this coming Monday and is wearing a inflatable non weight bearing cast for at least two more weeks. They did break his ankle to "fix" it.

Being a goalie on a adult league isn't good for your health it seems.
