Kanaan takes first IRL victory

Yes, thats right, in only his second IRL appearence, Tony Kanaan wins the Purex 300 in Pheonix. The 7/11 team is showing that they are fast right out of the box, and will most likely challange the best of teams including Panther and Penske. I don't see hornish winning another championship this year. Also on the race note, what the hell was Micheal thinking, he had to have seen De Ferran in his mirrors all over him the two previous laps, and should have known that he had more than enough of a run to get by. Cutting him off and sending the both of them very violently into the wall was a very dumb error on a very experienced race car driver. Once again what was he thinking?

Fisher gave him a good run towards the end of the race!! too bad she did not have enought fuel on board for the last 20 laps or so or she would have came home in 2nd place if not the winner!! I hope she gets a full time sponsor soon so she can run all year!! She has been the best Chevy out there this year including Hornish!! There might have been one or two ahead of her but she is consistantly one of the 2 fastest chevys!
