I'm sure the wind gusts had a lot to do with it.

All depends if you caught a bad one during your qualifying effort.

It was bad out there today. Very gusty in the 30+ MPH range.

Wow...Jr. actually qualified 2nd?

Five bucks says he'll finish in 20nd or lower! :D :p

This week will probably put some distance between those up front in the Chase and some of the hopefuls. Time for Jeff Gordon to make a move if he is going to be a realistic contender this year.

Gilliland qualified 37th as the second car for Robby Gordon and misses the show......even though he beat his new boss.

that damn 35 rule :(

It's going to be another #5 and #48 showdown tomorrow. Eveyone else is running for 3rd.

Jr is a winner today. mark comes in second.

*laughs* Yea, when Hell freezes over. I say it's a close call between Mark Martin & Jimmie Johnson, with Martin edging out in .003 seconds.

Earnhardt will crash near the halfway point, after being a lap down, and take out 5 cars with him.

Yeah, that sounds just like him.:sarcasm:

He wrecked in New Hampshire, Watkins Glen, fried his engine in Indianapolis, wrecked at Daytona (both races), Darlington, and Phoenix. He also missed his pit stall quite a few times, and have passed below the yellow line in two races, the most noticeable one is the Daytona 500 when he tried that and caused "the big one".

So yea, it actually does sound like him, and while I'm sure his crew is glad that he starts 2nd, his mediocre driving will assure that he will not finish in the top 10.

Sorry, I thought you meant wreck on his own and take out 5 cars. Because he does THAT so often.:sarcasm:
