Kansas Cup...

You may be right. I'm surprised that Edwards and Kenseth don't have better averages at Kansas.

I think your dreaming :growl:

I think JGR blew their wad during the regular season. All of the Gibbs cars a sucking right now.

Looks like the hottest cars at the beginning of the year, JGR Racing, are now the worst of the chase.

I'd say they just had a good handle on things early on, but the other teams have just caught up with them.

Great finish. Yea, Carl hung them out the window on that move. Just a hair too hard in that dive.

What a finish! I wish Carl could have pulled it off. Would have been great to see him win there.

I sure love seeing a driver who isn't content to play it safe hang it all out like that. I also like that he planned the move with regard to not hitting Johnson.
BTW, did Kyle Busch's crew really find some paper in the intake? He said he hadn't heard anything about it.

And you remember the ESPN comment that said Junior was "unable to give an interview"?

Well, he might have been "unable" to give ESPN an interview. Have a 'net bud who posted this --- from HotPass, I think

huh. posting this here even tho' it carries over from the race thead: i just watched the post-race interview that phil parsons did with dale earnhradt jr. yeah, the interview that espn said he was "unable" to do. the interview that came AFTER dale signed a little boy's shirt and then asked parsons' camera crew to follow him into the shade for the interview. yeah. THAT interview.

huh. how about that, espn? guess he was "able" to do ann interview after all -- just not with you.

Think Junebug is getting his digs in at ESPN for putting his radio chatter in the spotlight?
:D :D :D

I loved the talk between Truex and his crew cheif

"you need to fix the damn thing" Truex
"You just shut up and drive, we will fix it" Crew

:D:D:D

Really! LOL Have to say the Gordon board I hang at during races was cracking up, too. We say that to Jeff on the board all the time. ROFL

The tach died on the starting grid just after they started engines, and there were three crewmen hustling to get a new one from the hauler and hand it off down pit road. :D
