Kat needs your prayers -- updated

I just got off the phone with Mike(Kat's hubby) --- the news is not good friends.

Kat has been in a coma for the last 2 weeks on a ventilator. The doctors are getting ready to take her off the system to see if she can breathe on her own.

Please spread the word if you know other forums that Kat visits. She, and Mike, need our prayers.

UPDATE:
Just talked to Mike again tonight. They are going to take Kat off the ventilator either Friday or Saturday. He said when he visits and talks to her, there is no response. It doesn't look good, friends.
 
Oh no, Kat and Mr Kat will be in my prayers and thoughts.

I will be praying for kat and the mister. Please kat, come out of the coma and get well.

I'm really sad to hear this....she is such a nice lady, we had chatted in the past about my home town, which she knows quite well, i will be thinking about her today. Get Well Kat , we all miss you!
 
My thoughts and prayers are with the lady. When I first came here to R/F, she and Cutiepie were the first two to greet me. QT has been gone for a while (wish she would show up now and then) and I'd sure hate to see Kat gone for good. Again, I hope she comes out of this quickly.

Kat is one of the first people I "met" online, when I first joined this place (the first time) around six years ago now. I have had lots of fun and interesting chats with her over the years. She always sort of reminded me of my mother, even shares her first name (albeit, with a "K" instead of a "C"). It's been a long while since we've chatted, or since I've been here, but I've always liked her. I hate to think of her in any kind of distress. I sure hope she pulls through. :(

I'm so sad to here this, tho I don't really know here, me being new here and all, but she did PM me and welcome me here and she was so nice, always helpful. I will keep her and her family in my prayers, and I pray that she comes back to everyone here.
 
While thinking of Kat, I couldn't help be remember the thread that was rampant when I first came here. You ladies who were here at the time, will well remember this thread. I ran through it and am still laughing. For those who weren't here and don't want to go through the whole thing, the men of the forum started a thread for men only, showing pictures that men would like. Figure that one out. Well, the ladies couldn't be outdone so they started their own thread and one Pbunch, a good old boy, was put in charge of the harem to keep the men out. Yeah right. Well, some of us guys just couldn't resist and we bugged the hell out of those women. One set of cut posts had our Lappy, at that time still a young teenager (2002) popping up in the thread. Bunchy's little comment was something like, "Lappy, if I catch you in here again, I'll make it to where you have to squat to pee!" :eek: Then came the retort...I'm not lappy, I'm his sister. Oh that lappy, couldn't resist what the ladies were doing...but neither could a bunch of us.
