for consecutive 9th palce finishes in a Busch race.
With his 9th place finish at Charlotte, Kenny has now finished 9th in 3 consecutive races.
Prior to yesterday, this had been done 2 history of the Busch series:
Elton Sawyer at New Hampshire, Charlotte, and Dover in 2001
Kenny Wallace at South Boston, Hickory, and Pulaski County in 1989.
Kenny has finished in 9th place in a Busch race 20 times, inlcuding 4 times in his last 5 Busch races. The 20 times in 9th place is the Busch Series record for 9th palce finishes. (Dale Jarrett is second with 17 ninth place finishes in the Busch series.)
I looked it up so you wouldn't have to... and becuase you probably aren't crazy enough to spend 30 minutes finding such a trivial fact.
