Kenseth re-signs with Roush Racing
Former NASCAR champion Matt Kenseth has been with Roush Racing for seven years. He will remain there for at least a few more.

Roush Racing announced on Friday that Kenseth has signed a multi-year contract extension.

Since joining Roush's team in 1999, Kenseth has 10 NASCAR Nextel Cup wins and 51 top-five finishes. He won the Winston Cup title in 2003.

"We are very pleased that Matt extended his contract with Roush Racing," team owner Jack Roush said. "Matt is one of the most talented drivers in the garage and he'll always hold a special place in our organization, having helped to bring us our first Cup championship in 2003."

This past season, all five of the Roush members - Kenseth, Kurt Busch, Mark Martin, Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards - made the 10-driver "Chase for the Championship."

All will return in 2006 except for Busch, the 2004 champion who left Roush to join Penske Racing South, replacing retired Rusty Wallace. Roush Racing named Jamie McMurray to replace Busch.
