I doubt it will help them. It's hard to understand what the situation really is when Pemberton says they didn't break any rules but violated the 'spirit' of those rules. It sounds like they went too far, which is hard to understand after teams violated the spirit of the rear skew limits by using trick bushings last year. nascar is so damn wanky it's hard to have faith in the things they do.
