Looks like Keselowski will either land at JRM in cup or SHR. I'm thinking SHR would be the more likely move, but who would the sponsor be? Godaddy doesn't really have THAT deep of pockets...their CS is actually in america.

It's a long to Richmond, rollin' North on 95. With a red head ridin' shotgun, pistol pointed by my side. Tearin' down that highway, like a modern day Bonnie and Clyde.
My bad.Andy I think you left a word out of your signiature. WAY??????

Again, just my prediction: The four car limit rule is thrown out the window and Kez is clear to go join Hendrick.
I'm with MRM about rather having Truex. Maybe Bass Pro would come over to since they sponsor some of Smokes dirt cars. I'm sure if it is Keslowski Hendrick would make sure he found a good sponsor for him.
Josh Richards could be the future of SHR,that might leave out Truex Keslowski
I think silly season starts earlier every year. I think the players involved might have an idea where they would like to go but there's a lot of pieces in the puzzle to be put in place before decisions are final.
That's all I'm sayin'.
Josh Richards
Is a long ways from Cup. He's only got a few starts in ARCA with one top 5 finish (on the dirt track at Do Quoin) and one start in the East Series.
I hope he makes it though, would be awesome to see some more dirt racers come to Cup and show them how it's done.
If Tony hadn't left, Joey would still be in Nationwide where he belongs.Yeah and everyone thought it would be years for Joey to get a cup ride, both Tony and Ryan have said they think Josh is ready still don't think its next year he should get some time in a nationwide ride for sure, their is alot of young talent in racing though which is awesome.
Shoot, SST, I think Silly Season starts the minute the last season ends.
Jason Leffler failed miserably in Cup twice. No way any owner in their right mind will give him a third chance. If what I hear about what's going on at Braun with Jason Leffler is true he might be open for a full time Cup slot next season. He and Smoke are pretty good friends with a long history and Tony has shown a preference for drivers with open wheel experience. That "might" be another possibility?

I figure if anything Leffler would stay in a Toyota though,Maybe he goes to JGR
I was surprised they gave him a second shot after he left them mid season to go to Ganassi a few years ago, but they did and he failed miserably.
Are you not aware that Jason was the original FedEx driver for JGR? I was surprised they gave him a second shot after he left them mid season to go to Ganassi a few years ago, but they did and he failed miserably.
the same one that Keebler had?I forgot about the possibility of Josh Richards. He'd have to run a year or two of pavement stuff full time before going to Cup. But he obviously has an eye on that because he had surgery on his ears to make him look more appealing/marketable.

Mark came back the second time with Roush and had success.Good points. But he's seemed to improve a bit since he dropped down to Cup Lite.
If you remember, Mark Martin wasn't the most stable driver when he arrived in Cup. He had to drop back to BGN to get his perspectives right. Not comparing Leffler to Martin but maybe the same principle applies?
nobody will give him a third shot.
I would say nobody. It's like that old saying there's an arse for every seat, some are just bigger than others. He may fit somewhere.

Good points but I wouldn't say "Nobody." That's a little too definite for me. besides, his was merely a name that flashed across my mind. If Rick has anyone in mind, my bet it that it's either Kesolowski or Kahne who somehow manages to once again get out of contractual agreement contract.Mark came back the second time with Roush and had success.
Leffler's had two chances... the second time with one of the top teams. He failed miserably. Nobody will give him a third shot.

The way I understand it, Kahne's contract is through 2010 and the Bud contract is between Kahne and A-H, not A-H and Gillett, and is for another year or so beyond that. But, I could be wrong on that. (Wouldn't be the first time.)you lost me there. i thought kasey's contract was ending? nobody is obligated to resign with their current team.
Waiting for the real thing to happen is the bane of all of us, isn't it? If we could turn speculation into money (I'll leave it to the futures traders to do that; it's not a game for the faint of heart), we'd all be gazillionaires.hehe, thanks for the clarification john. since all this is just speculation at this point i'll just sit back and wait until something happens. <g>
