Welcome back to the Kevin Harvick Fan Club, we're hyped up for 2004 and contrary to popular belief, this fan club will keep on going!

Kevin Harvick got a boost to his hunt for the 2004 Nextel Cup Championship when he finished 4th in the season opening Daytona 500, congrats to the winner Dale Earnhardt Jr.. Also, the #21 RCR team got a boost for it's Busch Series Championship when Kevin Harvick again finished 4th in today's Hershey Kisses 300, teammate Robby Gordon in the #55 car finished 3rd. Of course, Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer will be sharing the #21 ride all season.

Arright, who's hyped up for 2004? Nothing like a couple of good finishes to start off the season. Looks like the 29 and the entire RCR organization will be a threat to win races and the championship all year long!

GO KEVIN ! Let the posting begin.

Kevin did pretty well, not a bad way to start off the 2004 season.

It's too bad he was stuck back in that slower pack, even with a fast car, getting pushed by slower ones won't help you shorten any gaps...but fourth place is a top five and top fives will get you a championship...right fellas?

Yes, thats right. They should be in victory lane within the next couple weeks. Really eager to see the Goodwrench car back in victory lane.

Not looking good for right now, medium to average, highest finish for the 29 team at The Rock was a 15th last year.

Although Kevin and the 29 have been known to show brilliant finishes on tracks they deemed insurmountable before last year. They should improve at the Rock this year, I'll say top 3 - top 5.

i was hoping for a catuin with about 20 to go to have harvick and the rest of them catch up, pit and get 4 tires and have a nice 15 lap shootout for the win.

as for the rock, a think a top 10 finish is possible

Thats what I was hoping for too, I saw that Kevin and Jeff and Jimmie close to the end of the race looked like they were catching up, until the lapped traffic got in the way, the second pack looked like it would get the first one. They need to find some way to bring the entire pack, at the end of the race, it was really just a duel between Dale Jr. and Tony.

Yeah, the pit strategy, where the yellow flags landed and other things kinda affected the pack, it was spread out all day

Sucks that Scott Riggs wrecked and finished 34th, he didnt have that good of a car nor the situation to work with.

Sometimes, its an advantage to start from the back, however, when you try to come to the front, chances are you'd be in the middle of the pack and thats what happens. Looks like Waltrip, Riggs and Vickers bit that bullet right there. Although Jeff Gordon started 37th and came up to the top 10, well, anything can happen at the Superspeedways.

You know how, we'll party like its the victory celebration of the Brickyard 400....

No, in all seriousness, we'll celebrate this joyous occasion

Hear Kevin had a mishap on pit road that cost him a shot at the victory, man, we came so close !

He couldve pitted with the leaders, however, he decided to go one more lap before pitting.... thats what cost him a shot to win :(

Well, despite what went on, the 29 team did their best, I bet if they were up with that lead group, they wouldve threatened for the win. Always next year I guess...

Yeah, the RCR stable always seems to produce good cars for the 500, except for Johnny Sauter's which is a completely different story. Hopefully when the 29 team returns to Daytona in July, they'll be able to kick some keyster, they've done real real well at the 400 in past years. Onto the championship!

Yeah, that 21 just looks fantastic whenever it enters the track, except for the normal scheme, this Hershey's one really looked good.

I was thinking they need to do a reverse paint scheme of the 29's Nextel Cup Car, I mean that would look good right there. Like that one NR2003 car pic I posted a couple fortnights ago.

Probably celebrating President's day, watching tv, going on road trips ya know the usual. DirtyMo and esorlxaw showed up, I dont know, maybe some other members must be getting off work or something.

Should be better in an hour or so.

well im here, ill be in and out. I'm a bit distracted about the SU-ND bball game goin on...

Ah, the game, I'm rootin for Notre Dame in that one, looks to be a close game right now.

yea, the 'cuse havnt looked good for about a month now, except wins over va tech and miami, but they aren't good teams anyway. We really are missin billy edlin, he's been gone from the team for the past 2 weeks and no one seems to know why. THere sure have been some good rumors about it though

Good,I was tired of bring harrassed by a certain someone who shall remain nameless. Anyway, I wish I woulda Tivo'ed the Busch race today! I tried to but for some reason it didn't happen . I just seen a few highlights on nascar.com and speed channel. It's gonna be interesting to see if Jr,Stewart and Harvick can keep their momentum going.

With that being said,I think Kurt Busch is gonna win Rockingham.

Hmmm, I don't see what that has to do with Kevin Harvick...however, I've returned from class tonight finally...unfortunately, it looks to be another long night of BS school work. If I don't stop getting shakespeare bombs dropped on me, I might go nuts. Regardless, I happen to like the 21 paint scheme, especially the new one with the reese's PB cups. I was wondering if anyone knew what the theme for the Chevy Monte Carlo 400 would be this year...the Rock n Roll was cool last year, I'm sure Kevin will "tear it up" this year, but no one will screw him in the waning laps.

I hear you there axl, I got loads of work to do as well.

I think Harvick will probably be the guy to beat this year, I hear all this talk about Ryan Newman and Jimmie Johnson. What about the other guys? I think Harvick has enough consistency to beat the two, and he should win a lot of races this season.

For Rockingham, I dont know who to pick, it'll either come down to Dale Earnhardt Jr. or Jimmie Johnson, I'm sticking with Chevy on this one.

I'm going with Kasey Kahne, Dale Jarrett or Matt Kenseth to be the heavy favorites coming into The Rock

Good picks right there Kenseth and Jarrett are former winners at the Rock, also the 9 teams been finishing well at Rockingham the past few years, they also won the second race there last year. Should be a shootout between all the makes

Yeah, I'm not putting Waltrip in anymore, I replaced Wimmer with him and that killed me horribly during the 500 !

You never know, thats the exciting action that NASCAR has to offer

but for the Rock in particular, there is no action, well besides the 2001 race where Steve Park beat out Bobby Labonte and Jeff Gordon, that was a good race right there.
