I love short track racing (Taylor's Version)
What ends up happening?
I voted for outperformed. He's been running solid but I think someone else is going to step their game up when it comes time for the chase.
You forgot "who cares". How can anyone really think the cup champion comes from just ten races. It is called a season for a reason.

Also, no driver who was 1st in the standings when the chase began has won the championship.
If memory serves me correctly... Tony Stewart (2005), Jimmie Johnson (2006) both entered the Chase with the championship points lead.
Ah yea you are right about tony, I read it wrong on wikipedia(nascar.coms standings was much easier to read) Harvick was in the lead in 2006. Jimmie entered the chase first in 2007.
If you don't care you don't answer it...pretty simple to me
Yep, Kenseth had the point lead exiting Richmond 2006. How awesome is it that I have the video to back this up?

The question is not whether Kevin will win a Cup Championship, but when.
Ya, just ask Mark Martin.
I'd like to see Harvick win. Actually, I'd like to see anyone other than Johnson win the championship but I've become thoroughly convinced over the past four years that I will never see a driver other than Johnson win the title. Seriously, this guy has been unstoppable. I think he has single handily ruined the Chase with his total domination.
Comparing Martin to Harvick is like comparing apples to oranges. Two VASTLY different driving styles. Mark Martin is probably one of the best to ever wheel a stock car but lacks the aggressiveness of a Champion. Kevin has the right amout of skill and aggressiveness to become a Cup Champion.
