Kid needs a beatin'

I never understood why high school boys (and some teachers) are so disgusting. If a girls outfit is distracting you from getting an education then that's your problem.

There's nothing wrong with the cheerleading skirts, and once again we are telling young women that the comfort of boys is more important than their own. Disgusting.

Last week, when a male student at Timpview High School in Provo, Utah, complained to a school counselor that the uniforms worn by cheerleaders on game day were causing him to have “impure” thoughts in class

I'm gonna approach this from a slightly different angle, though we're probably in agreement here.

Boys who like girls regularly get distracted by certain girls and whatever outfit they're wearing on any given day, and vice-versa. Under normal circumstances, this strange phenomenon continues into adulthood and affects both men and women. It's called attraction, and that's exactly how it's supposed to work.

Friggin' kids, man.

Getting so distracted with attraction you can't focus on the task at hand is called stupidity and immaturity.

Similar to generalizing saying "HS boys and some teachers disgusting".

-A dude who has never had an issue with the scantily clad female. Which can/is also interpreted as disgusting...

Boys in my high school weren't allowed to wear muscle shirts. Down with the female establishment that can't handle these guns!

It's called being a guy. Most high school age guys will pop a tent if an attractive girl even looks in their general direction. Hell, I've been in a room full of middle age business men that were left speechless after an attractive sales rep walked in with a low cut top and a really short skirt. I don't know many guys that aren't easily distracted by T & A. Us guys are simple creatures.

Also, guilty as charged on the stupid and immature part, according to my wife.

Another thing, does this school have a volleyball team? If so, and this guy is distracted by the cheerleaders outfits, he's going to lose his mind when he sees the volleyball "shorts".

School I went to actually had in the dress code that cheerleaders weren't allowed to wear their outfits in school, because the top and the skirts violated the general dress code.

I always challenged the boundaries of their dress code.

They had a rule saying people couldn't wear NASCAR jackets because they had "Winston" and "Bud" decals on them. So, I bought a Kevin Harvick GM Goodwreck jacket (in the NEXTEL Cup era) and it didn't have the "Bud Pole Award" patch on it at all and wore it. Got sent to the principal's office and asked them to show me where the Bud and Winston patches were. :lol2:

Another time, I had a Mark Martin shirt on. This was when he was driving the Viagra car. :lol2: So, an administrator walks up to me and says, "You can't wear that shirt, it's promoting sexuality". I reply, "Viagra's a pill". Dude followed up by saying I probably don't watch NASCAR and don't like Mark Martin and was just wearing it to challenge their authority. :XXROFL::XXROFL:

Dontcha know? Men are taught to find women sexually attractive. Has nothing to do with biology.

I like that; similar story here. Nascar wear in general wasn't banned, but stuff for teams that promoted alcohol or tobacco were banned. So I obviously couldn't wear Spencer stuff with Camel or Winston on it. So I would wear older stuff with the Smokin' Joe's car or logo on it. No mention of Winston Cup, no actual mention of Camel cigarettes, and my argument of "this camel has a checkered flag scarf; the camel on the cigarettes doesn't" allowed me to get by with it.

Example from a google image search (this is actually one design that I had/have):

I wish I could get more Spencer shirts. One terrible thing about being a race fan is that if your driver retires or changes teams you either can't get their stuff anymore or the colors and logos become obsolete. You don't have that with other sports; I can always get Raiders or Reds stuff.

The county in Florida I went to elementary and middle school was pretty bad. They actually had it in their dress code that you couldn't wear apparel that advertised any business. So, they kicked up a fuss over me wearing a shirt one time. I got by with it by saying everyone's shoes had NIKE on them and their jeans had JNCO on them.

All teenage boys have raging hormones just screaming to be turned loose but complain to Mommy? Kid gets that cranked up he might want to take the situation in hand. :D

No skimpy cheerleader outfits needed. I grew up mentally undressing the piano player and the other hotties in the choir at church in spite of the modest knee length dresses, and I aint trying to be funny.
It was a damn serious case of meditation. And I continued to mentally undresses them into my 30's and 40s, the only change was their faces. I can still mentally recall their silhouettes, shapes, and the colors of the finest outfits they wore.

The boy just made a foolish decision that interfered with all of the teenagers fun, both male and female. He should be celebrating the fleeing precious moments, and it is a shame that he has been trained to be so unnaturally supressed. One of the most glorious moments of his life forever altered by lifes self appointed self righteous kill joys. Hopefully they have personally attained the same type of misery, that they want to impose on others.
