Don't know if any of you midwest folks know who he is. He's a World of Outlaws Late Models racer who races primarily in the Northeast, in fact he raced at the big dance at Potomac Speedway earlier this year.

Anyways, he's testing a car for Venturinni Motorsports at Kentucky Speedway for the ARCA Re/MAX Series Kentucky 150. He's actually third quickest right now behind Joey Coulter and Craig Goess and ahead of Kasey Kahne.

Josh Richards does a bit more than "race primarily in the northeast." He's from West Virginia, and is a past WoO Late Model rookie of the year. He's also currently leading the WoO points and has 5 wins on the year, tied with the Kentucky Colonel Steve Francis.

But I still think he's overrated....

I only follow the local guys in WoO Late Models (Myers, Lathroum, Williams, Hills, etc.) since they're not televised and I can't see the races so there's no point anyways.

Then why'd you try and tell us who Josh Richards was if you really didn't know?

Like I said, I've seen him race at Potomac before. Just because I don't go to every World of Outlaws Late Model race doesn't mean I don't know who some of the drivers are.

Kid Rocket is the go to guy (crew chief) for Tony Stewart when Tony Races his Bass Pro Shop SLM car

Kid is being groomed for the Big Leages one day....I met and talked to him and he really appreciates his fans...

He has run one ARCA race before a couple of years ago at DuQuoin for Tony Stewart. I think he finished 2nd or 3rd. He also ran the NASCAR Camping World series race at Greenville Pickens for Schrader this year and I think he had a top 5 there. I talked to him at one of the WoO Great Northern Tour races and he said he probably will be running the DuQuoin or Springfield ARCA races.

Theres alot of torn up late model equipment that hopes the asphalt stuff works out for the kid lol.

Sorry had to say it lol

Well he tore up the ARCA car, can't remember who he tangled with but he got help and wrecked.

Venturini Motorsports tells me he'll be running at least once more this year in the 25 car.

But I still think he's overrated....

I'm glad I'm not the only one with that opinion. The few times I've seen him race in person have not been overly impressive. Maybe he's a better racer now that he's had his ears fixed. :sarcasm:

Josh Richards is on the entry list in the #15 Gunter's Honey car for Venturini Motorsports in tomorrow's Southern Illinois 100 ARCA Labor Day Classic.
