All systems are go for the Kim Crosby #51 Boudreaux's Buttpaste/RacingOne.Com Fans And Friends Ware Racing Dodge for an assault on The Daytona Busch Series race at Daytona July 2nd.

The Fans and Friends deal is a little thing we put together over there to get the lady an extra set of tires and yup, we got em :D

A "come on" of sorts was that for every 10 bucks ya put in the kitty, you got a chance to get your name on the car over the door next to Kim's and that worked pretty well. A really neat thing is that the winner of the "lotto" gave a 15 year old lukemia patient the "name deal".....He's a better man than I...Gungha Din....and Kim called the kid personally to break the news.

I have been emailing with Kim for well over a year now, and there may be some very exciting news just over the horizon.....Sorry, can't quite let the bag out of the cat just yet.

Meanwhile, look for the ButtMobile and check this lady out if ya want to get an idea of what grass-roots efforts are all about. Notice the window and the two by fours. Just a girl and her car out back the house. :DSchools Out For Summer and be sure to click thru to the homepage and forum. And if ya really feel like giving the lady a lift, visit her new forum at nascar.com.

Anyways, that all the news that fits.
 
There's just something about a woman racing driver having 'Butt Paste' as a sponsor that makes me want to follow them....em, I leaving now! :p

Ahhh but there is more......

Sometime on Thursday evening, there will be an autograph/bull session at a motorhome which will be parked in space 106 of the West Lot (Special Vehicle Parking) at Daytona. You enter this place through Gate 32 which is at the end of the grandstand on the West end (that's 1st turn for those of you in Rio Linda). You'll have to walk in but if you want to mingle with Kim, bring a chair and your own refreshments.

It's a also a good chance to pick up a Boudreaux's ButtPaste shirt or hat or even one of those rare, soon-to-be collector's items...a Crosby Motorsports Tee-shirt.
 
Me two.....a buddy has two extra tickets he'll let go of below face value....50 each if anyone is interested....but the airfare would kill me.....meanwhile.....

The autograph/bull session with Kim is still a "GO" but they are waiting to see the final schedule to set a time. Right now, they are looking at Thursday evening from 7:30 - 8:30 (prior to Cup quals), sometime Friday (Friday's schedule is still "up in the air"), or prior to the Cup race on Saturday.

As soon as a set time and day is decided on, I'll post it for anyone interested.
 
This was just posted on another board.....

The autograph/bull session with Kim Crosby, driver of the Boudreaux's Butt Paste/Golden Flake/RacingOne Dodge #51 Busch Series car will be held at my motorhome on Saturday, July 3rd starting at 4:00 pm.

Fans should plan on stopping by on their way to the Cup race which starts at 7:30 pm. Kim (and hopefully another special surprise guest) will be on hand for talks, photos and autographs until about 5:00 or 5:15, depending on when we decide to pick up and head for the grandstand for the race. BYOB and a chair if you want to sit. You may leave the chairs or coolers at the motorhome until after the race if you wish but I can't (won't) be responsible for property left there unattended. Because of volume limitations, please don't plan on using the restroom facilities. Port-a-Johns are supposed to be available nearby.

Directions:

The motorhome will be parked in Space 106 of the West Lot Special Vehicle Parking area, located outside of Turns 1 and 2 on the west end of the track. Enter the area through Gate #32 and hang a left shortly after entering the gate. Walk down the road a piece and you'll see the Racing One banner on your right. The motorhome is a Safari, off-white in color, and will have a couple of Earnhardt flags flying from the flagpole at the rear of the motorhome.
