Q: WITH ALLMENDINGER’S THIRD-PLACE FINISH AT DAYTONA, HOW MUCH WILL THAT HELP YOU FIND ADDITIONAL SPONSORS FOR THE 44 CAR?
A: "It’s got to be a plus-plus. I think we’ve got sponsorship for 10 or 12 races right now and we’re already committed for the first six or eight races. We feel like if he (Allmendinger) can continue to show promise and do as well as he did at Daytona, then we feel very confident that we’ll be able to pick up different sponsors over a period of time to continue running him. If he keeps running like he did at Daytona, I’ll just run him out of my pocket because he’ll be bringing the money back in."(Dodge Motorsport PR)

Didn't Charter recently file for bankruptcy.
 
They could already have money allocated for sponsorship/advertising. Still, I don't know if I'd want to be doing business with a company that's broke. I know they need sponsors, but I believe I'd cash the check before doing anything else.
 
Maybe we could get a petition to have Monster or Rockstar sponsor AJ and give Red Bull the middle finger.

Monster sponsors Goat in Trucks and Rockstar probably wouldn't do it since they sponsor regional racing and CORR. Full Throttle is title sponsor for NHRA. NOS sponsors the Wildthing. GetFubar sponsors Hylton. Sobe sponsors Boris. Loud sponsors most events at New Jersey.

Did I miss any energy drink brands? :sarcasm:
 
That NOS is some nasty stuff.Which is just as well I don't like Kyle either.

I like NOS :idunno:

Full Throttle's my favorite but none of the gas stations between home and work supply it.:mad:

Rockstar's decent as well.

It's decent but not enough wake up.

I wish they'd change the taste of that Vault crap Coke has to taste like Full Throttle.

All those energy drinks you mentioned are primarily the same thing, Sugar and Caffiene. I wouldn't depend too much on an energy drink to be my primary sponsor, there are so many of them that it is just a matter of time those companies start failing in this economy. I did try that NOS stuff once, couldn't even choke down half the can, ought to be just right for Schrub....lol.

Just since they sponsor local or reginal does not mean they could not sponsor someone or something else.

The mark up on Energy drinks is huge, I got a case of 12 (sealed in box) of Rockstars 32 OZ cans....12 Bucks.

NOS, Full Thtottle, AMP, Red Bull, Rockstar are the bigger ones.

Why?

Because kids have died after drinking 12 of them straight. :rolleyes:

I normally would say it doesn't have a chance of passing but since it's Maryland and they legislate everything, it probably will.

I love having the government determine what's healthy for me to eat and drink. :sarcasm:

Ever seen the energy drink "Bawls"? Was my son's favorite drink for a while, and a never ending source of humor in my house. "Zach, you left your bawls on the counter again." "Why don't you put your bawls in the fridge for a while?" "Oh no, my bawls are empty again!"

Personally, I'd love to see a Bawls sponsored car. Just think of the fun that could be had with that one:D

Yeah, I love their new root beer energy beverage. It's a bit expensive though $2.79 each :eek:
