Does anyone here visit Slick Deals on the net? You can find some absolutely great deals there, but you have to check it out everyday to be able to find what you might want and then you can't delay. Yesterday, Slick Deals showed that Amazon.com was selling the classic Kitchenaid 250 watt mixer with two mixing paddles and a whisk attatchment for a mere $110.00 shipped! This thing normally sells for well over $200 and if you buy on the net, you would of course have to add shipping. Price Grabber had the cheapest price at $179 plus shipping which would but it over two hundred. We've always wanted one of these mixers, but just couldn't justify the cost until yesterday. I checked today and the offer has expired already. One other offer that has already expired even though it was only listed today was the 6 DVD box set of the Band of Brothers for $25 with free shipping. I'd have grabbed that, but I was too late. If you've never seen the site, give it a shot and see what you can purchase. http://www.slickdeals.net/

Thanks, I have bookmarked the site. It doesn't bother me to browse around trying to get the best deal as it usually saves quite a few dollars. I bought my wife a leather coat on Overstock for Christmas and think I got a reasonable deal. Many of my CD's I get from the library. Another good place is called http://cheap-cds.com/surf/home but I always compare prices.

Even when I bought my computer from Dell I kept checking their prices on a daily basis and even several times a day before buying. The prices would fluctuate up and down and the key was to get the best deal possible. They would change their "combinations" frequently.

I got my newest Dell, which I seldom use right now, after seeing a deal on Slick Deals. It showed me that if I bought the computer from the small business section of the site, I could save about $200.

I watched How Its Made and they showed how KitchenAid mixers were made. Kinda neat...
