Time to turn the media loose on the Larson raving.
Hmmmm I wonder if this counts against Joeys streak of top 12 qualifying efforts in knockout qualifying lol.. Not like it matter much but the way I look at it there was no knockout qualifying... so the streak remains intact

Not really. Edwards won the "pole" at spring Talladega because of rain last year but it doesn't count as a career pole nor did it count towards the Shootout.

Yeah that's what I thought.
I saw Slice's post and found that peculiar.
I dont think this counts as a 9th different pole winner since he didn't actually "win" it. Or maybe its a record, on a technicality?

On JAYSKI it says it's his 1st career pole, but I don't think it counts

It seems to me he did win it by running better than anyone else during practice. I'm pretty sure all the drivers were trying to get a good time during practice.

Depending on the source it varies. Jayski says it's his first pole and so does fox.
