made it to kokomo last night for the sprint cars, midgets and mini sprint portion of the clash (still trying to figure out why the pure stocks, or what ever then call em were there?) it was def the one class too many for such a cold oct nite! it was a good sow, but was much colder than anticipated mostly do to a relentless and nasty-awful cold-ass wind blowing right in our faces all night long non-stop. the racng was good none the less with c j leary opting to stay home and race his sprint car rather than running his champ car at scarycruse and putting it to the competition at the mo I'd say Robert ballou in the 33m was the guy to watch as he went from 12th starting spot to a 4th place finish, not an easy task with a stellar field and guys like darland and leary starting up front. dave darland won a good midget feach

I see the non wing sprints as well as the wind-ed dudes will be putting on a 3 night show at atomic speedway just s. of chillocothe, oh. next week, might have to make at least 1 if not all three of them depending on the weather (at least its a little closer to home) that should be it for 2014 racing then/ not a bad year considering the crappy wet and cold weather (no damn global warmin round here) oh well got some damn good college football to occupy the rest of the fall then.
